Today!

Today I realize that today is not just an ordinary day. I've been enlightened to the fact that there is no such thing as an ordinary day! Each moment, once captured can never be revisited, only remembered. So today I will thank God for the way the sky looks today, the way my children hope today, and the way the trees sway in the wind today. I want to hold on to every breath and word spoken. I want to be present exactly where I am. I want to live in this very moment. I refuse to waste my precious time pondering over the couldas and wouldas of yesterday. Nor shall I worry about the things of tomorrow, I'll allow the things of tomorrow to take care of themselves. Today, God has afforded me the opportunity to be in the land of the living one more time. There were people alive yesterday that were not fortunate enough to see Today. At this moment in time I couldn't care less about the weather, politics, relationships, finances, or the possibilities of tomorrow. How can I.... when there is so much to see, hear, experience, love, cherish, and rejoice over Today!
